Week 43 This week we get the bow casting and some plastic curved bulkheads that go behind the anti-aircraft guns

And what we did with them
I started on the superstructure parts first.
First, I cut the plastic off the sprue and test fitted them. They actually needed quite a bit of sanding to get a good fit. They need to be a good sliding fit. Snug, but not tight. I sanded them so that the curve of the plastic lined up with the curve of the ply deck head.
When satisfied with the fit I glued them in place with Araldite epoxy adhesive.
I sanded the bottom and sides flush when the glue was dry.
