Week 39 This week we get the next batch of 2nd planks
The bits we received

And what we did with them
The process is the same as weeks 35 & 36. However, I did the first plank differently to the instructions. I marked the width of the bilge keel, and then placed the plank so that I'm left with a nice neat slot into which I can fit the bilge keel later.

Kilroy and Mutley are back on the job. Mutley has fitted the next planks so that the taper into the plank I fitted above. Kilroy is keeping a careful eye on him. We don't want any more parts on backwards.

Here is how far I've got with the bow.

And this is the current progress at the stern. Note that I haven't fitted the last few short planks that go astern of the resin part. They sill be fitted after the resin part is glued in place.
